With a little one on the way now myself, my attention has returned to beautiful baby rooms, so following on from rocking modern nurseries I’ve gathered together more gorgeous little gems…
Nursery Lamp
I really like the idea of introducing a cool standing lamp, it will come in useful for softly lighting those bleary-eyed night time feeds, as well as remaining stylish and non age specific as the baby grows.

Nursery Wallpapers
Grownup wallpapers work beautifully in a child’s room too, such as smart stripes or a flourish of fleurs-de-lis; remember, an extreme early days theme may not seem like such a great idea in just a few years time.
Nursery Furniture
As I have been gathering ideas for my own baby’s nursery, I’ve become super aware at how short a time much of the furniture can be used for, and how expensive it all is! Dual-purpose furniture seems to present some neat solutions, i.e. pieces that convert to another use once the initial need is over.

Dual-Use Furniture
Great examples of convertible nursery furniture are cot-beds and changers that either convert to bookshelves, or have a removable changing topper over an ordinary chest of drawers. Items that have two lives can cost a little more initially but may save your pocket in the long run.
With so many amazing options I am spoilt for choice! Have you created your own beautiful baby room? Send me your photos using my easy Submission Form.
