About Emma

Hello My Home Rockers! I’m Emma McLaughlan, founder of MHR. I have been in the design industry for over 12 years, originally working in Graphic Design, and later specialising in Children’s Illustration and the development of educational CD-ROMs; you will also find my illustrations in children’s book ‘Mr Stratfold’s School for Monsters’, written by Desmond Wolfe.

I love all things design, especially decor, and I am currently renovating a 1920s terraced house, which has been a non-stop home design whirlwind. I wanted to create a platform where I could share my findings and endless research, and give others a place to share their own triumphs of style.
