My Home Rocks Tours:
Elisicia’s Beloved Bathroom

by · April 13, 2012

When My Home Rocks reader, Elisicia Moore, director of charity Petit Miracle Interiors in Battersea, London, sent pictures of her beloved bathroom via my Submission Form, I think I fell a little bit in love with it too!

A chic traditional scheme, complete with a classic roll top bath on contrasting claw feet, is given a luxurious finish with the addition of an elegant fringed footstool upholstered in a golden hue that matches a striking set of ornate gilt frames. I’ve always loved the idea of having a huge mirror propped in a bathroom, so I just adore the effect of the giant stand-alone frame that forms a perfect vignette behind this tub.

Another great idea to note here is the subtle screening that can be created by a potted plant between your bubble bath and your loo–a bit of greenery provides a far nicer view when you’re soaking in the suds!

A big thank you to Elisicia for sharing her beautiful bathroom with us on My Home Rocks Tours!

We would love to see your home design ideas too, why not share using our easy Submission Form?

That frame restarted my wanting a large ornate mirror to prop in my bathroom! Love it :)
